Justice For Khalil
Garden Heights has been well-known by the police due to the neighborhood's crime and poverty rate. Officer Cruise assumed that Khalil was a drug dealer and part of one of the gangs at Garden Heights, the jury ends up believing Officer Cruise's story which let's him free with no charge and the beginning of a riot.Racism of police officers has been a threat to people of colour for awhile. They seem to never catch a break from being racially profiled by officers who think they’re up to no good. A good majority of police officers treat others differently due to their race and the colour of their skin. In their eyes, they’re criminals.
